The Sony DSC-WX1
is a compact, robust camera that's packed with features, including a
10.1-megapixel EXmorR CMOS sensor and 3200 ISO sensitivty, to provide fantastic
results all the time - even in bright lighting conditions. It was crowned "Best
European Compact Camera" for 2009-2010 at the European Imaging and Sound
Association awards.
The BIONZ processor on the
DSC-WX1, which is supported by Clear RAW
digital noise reduction, prevents darkness spoiling your photos. Plus, smile and
face detection guarantee pictures turn out perfectly every time.
Meanwhile, the Sweep Panorama mode captures more breathtaking shots,
reaching beyond the traditional wide-angle lens and stitching images together to
create one stunning panoramic photo.
The
DSC-WX1 is also equipped with an optical
stabiliser to reduce blur, and a Sony G lens with a 20-120mm zoom (35mm
equivalent) to seize every last detail. There's even
a host of video and
slideshow modes for sharing photos on a bigger screen.
